One of the items I bought this past saturday from the REI attic sale was a really nice Marmot 800 down fill vest.  This vest, which still had the tags on it was returned because the person who bought it tore a small hole in the back of it.   As such, it marked down from $135 to $29.   Figuring I could probably get it repaired cheaply and just have it go winter hiking in, I scooped it up.

Well I took it to Georgetown Valet by one of my clients today to see about getting it repaired.  The woman sewed the hole shut on the spot in about 5 minutes and sent me on my way, free of charge.  I guess it pays to have good karma sometimes (is it bad to brag about good karma?

Here’s to a happy Tuesday!
